Amandine
Amandine Durand Gasselin, known as Arte Mis. The Lune Noire, the Donjon, the land in Saint-Fortunat, the theme and colours of the bunker, the Sundari Festival: much of what this archive tells begins with her.
The Lune Noire, since 2002
The Lune Noire evenings are Amandine's creation. They began in 2002 in a loft in Old Montreal, "where every month artist and musician friends met to jam and dance", always around the new moons: visual arts first, creativity workshops, painting, crafts, then music and jam sessions. "Open to all, artists and creators!" The Lune Noire followed her to the Donjon, then to Saint-Fortunat, all the way to the decor of L'AgorA's festivals.
The Donjon, her idea
In 2008, the idea and the initiative are entirely hers. In her basement at 5505 Saint-Urbain Street, in Montreal, she puts up the red drapes, the hammocks, the sofas, the Buddha and the turntables of "the intimate donjon". Christian joins her a year later. The Donjon on Park Avenue, in the winter of 2009–2010, then the Donjon grandeur nature, in Saint-Fortunat, carry on what she started.

The land in Saint-Fortunat
In the spring of 2010, Manu is the one who sees that the house is for rent with its land, and tells them. Christian and Amandine sign the lease together, at $900 a month. The idea of setting up an artists' community there comes from her, and it is the two of them, Amandine and Christian, who bring it to life. That is where the Donjon becomes "grandeur nature", and where the place later called L'AgorA takes root.
The bunker: a year of work
The former pig barn, which many called the bunker, was full of broken concrete. The great clean-up of the building owes a great deal to Amandine's work. And she is the one who gives the place its theme, on the land and above all in the bunker: the colours, the lodges, the atmosphere. It took a year of relentless work to get there.
The concept, presented on the Donjon's website, is that of "energy camping": of the eleven lodges in the indoor camping hall, "formerly meant to house pigs", seven are dedicated to the seven chakras, each in its own colour, from the red of the earth to the violet of illumination. "The choice and arrangement of each of the chosen elements form a universe conducive to an intimate encounter with each of your chakras."
On the site's Contacts page, in 2011, Amandine "has been promoting artists for more than 10 years; she creates events where visual and musical arts come together and harmonize for the pure pleasure of the senses; she is also a decorator".

The Sundari Festival, June 2011
On June 3, 4 and 5, 2011, the Sundari Festival, "a celebration of universal love", is organized by Amandine, who chooses its guests. Headlining: the Dreamtree Project of Adham Shaikh and Uwe Neumann. A "100% ambient festival": nine live acts, nineteen DJs, workshops, booths, and a caravan between Montreal and Saint-Fortunat. "For universal love… which will allow real change."

Mid-August 2011
Around mid-August 2011, Amandine leaves the land for her personal life. The Donjon remains her creation. The place carries on as L'AgorA, with the colours, the lodges and the spirit she gave it.
